KONY 2012

Today I'd like to tell you about action KONY 2012.

"KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice. If the world knows who Joseph Kony is, it will unite to stop him."

Joseph Kony's LRA- Lord's Resistance Army- abducts children in Uganda from their homes, forces boys to be child soldiers, makes them use guns to kill their own parents. He takes girls and forces them to be sex slaves. Girls and boys like us, our brothers and sisters, our kids. Kill or be killed.

THIS IS NOT HOW THE LIFE SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE, HOW THOSE KIDS SUPPOSED TO GROW UP.

 

Invisible Children have a mission- "Invisible Children uses film, creativity and social action to end the use of child soldiers in Joseph Kony's rebel war and restore LRA-affected communities in Central Africa to peace and prosperity."

WE HAVE A VOICE AS KIDS IN UGANDA AND THEY MUST BE HEARD!!!
